How to apply iron on patches to a snapback cap.

We sell snapbacks online along with our iron on patches. As well as providing a customising service, we can now show you how to apply them yourselves with this step-by-step guide!
Please seek adult supervision if you're under 16
  1. Choose where you want the patch to be on your cap. Make sure it's straight, it'll be there forever!
  2. Cover the patch with a tea towel. This will protect the stitching on the patch and the snapback fabric.
  3. Using a high heat, carefully iron on the patch.  Use the steam function on the iron if it has one, this will make more heat and bond the patch to the fabric better. Applying pressure, slowly move the iron from one part of the patch to the other, for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Make sure that all the corners of the patch have been ironed on to the fabric. Iron on for longer if necessary.
  5. Leave to cool, then it's ready to wear!

How to add studs to your clothes!

At Extreme Largeness we have been selling studs in our Afflecks shop and online for quite a while, but we often get people asking how you apply them to your favourite leather jacket, denim hotpants or Converse. Here's our step by step guide answering any questions you might have!
Firstly, there are two types of studs, pyramid and screw studs. Pyramid studs have two small prongs on the back and screw studs (usually spike or cone shaped) have a small screw inside them.
HOW TO APPLY PYRAMID STUDS

  1. Our studs have 2 small prongs on the back which you
use to apply them to your clothing
  2. Position the stud wherever you want it to go on your
    clothing
  3. Push the 2 prongs on the back of the stud through the
    clothing
  4. Bend the two prongs inwards to secure the stud, you
can do this using a small pair of pliers, a thimble or a
    coin
  5. Make sure your stud is securely fastened to your
    clothing
  6. Repeat for each stud

HOW TO APPLY SCREW STUDS

  1. Screw studs have a screw inside the stud, you can
loosen this with a screwdriver or twisting it by hand
  2. Make a really small hole in whatever fabric you want
to customise. You can use belt hole punch or cut a hole
with a pair of scissors. Please seek adult supervision
    if you are under 16.
  3. Push the screw through the hole in the cloth.
  4. Twist the stud onto the screw
  5. Repeat for each stud.
